EPD Hub B.V., headquartered in Amsterdam, and EPD China, based in Shanghai, are proud to announce the finalization of a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) regarding Type III Environmental Declarations (EPD). This landmark agreement allows the EPDs of both programs to be mutually accepted without requiring further verification.

Through this partnership, EPD Hub looks forward to supporting wider recognition of EPDs from Chinese manufacturers who are wanting to enter the European market, and vice versa. By seamlessly bridging our regional programs, manufacturers will benefit from reduced administrative burdens and greater international visibility for their sustainability efforts. This MRA represents a strong tie to the Chinese market, and EPD Hub is excited for continued close collaborations into the future to drive global harmonization in environmental reporting.
