EPD Hub has signed a landmark Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with US-based program operator EPD Networks, operated by IGSC INC. Finalized in June 2026, this partnership streamlines global environmental reporting and market access for manufacturers.

Under the MRA, Type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) verified by either program are mutually accepted without redundant re-verification. The agreement covers key international standards, including ISO 14025, ISO 21930, and the European core standard EN 15804+A2. 

 

This partnership seamlessly bridges regional market demands. EPDs targeting the US market can incorporate supplementary TRACI indicators, while North American clients can meet European expectations through EPD Hub's specific programmatic requirements.To maximize visibility, clients can request co-publication. This enables their EPDs to be hosted simultaneously on both platforms, featuring a custom front page with both Program Operators' logos and dual registration numbers. 

 

By recognizing the equivalence of each other's verification procedures, EPD Hub and EPD Networks are breaking down geographic barriers. This empowers manufacturers to efficiently communicate their environmental impacts globally.
