EPD verification process: Status descriptions
At EPD Hub, we aim to make the verification process as transparent and smooth as possible.
Below you will find the description of each key status during the verification journey, along with important notes to guide you at each step.
This will help you understand what is happening behind the scenes and what, if anything, is expected from you.

EPD Verification Statuses & Descriptions

​Draft: EPD is being prepared by the client and has not yet been submitted.
​Submitted: Client has submitted the EPD for verification.
Ready for Verification / Pending Verification: EPD submitted, internal pre-checks pending. No client action needed.
Pre-verification Checks & Waiting Verifier to be Assigned: Internal checks ongoing. EPD Hub will match the EPD to a suitable verifier. Wallet deduction email sent to client. Please allow a few business days.
Pre-verification Check Completed, Verifier Assigned: Pre-checks complete. Verifier assigned and begins technical review.
Under Verification: Verifier is reviewing the EPD.
Clarification Requested: Verifier has raised comments or questions. Client must respond. Update draft EPD if any LCA model changes occurred.
Clarification Submitted: Client submitted responses; verifier will review and may initiate further clarification rounds if necessary.
Verified: Technical verification is completed. Note: Official publishing (upload of signed EPD) typically happens on Fridays and may require a few additional days to be finished by EPD Hub.
Withdrawn: The declaration has been deleted or withdrawn for any reason.
